The company can't stop doing layoffs it seems. We just had our fourth round, unannounced, like the last two were. In the all-hands meetings they talk about how much better the company is doing, sales are up, revenue is up, we're meeting and exceeding goals. Yet more US and UK consultants find themselves fired for no reason while hiring in the Philippines continues. NCC has lost the plot and seem to want to be an all-offshore company. They think junior consultants with 0 work experience can replace seniors and principals with 5-7+ years experience. They also denied us raises this year after bragging about how company profits are supposedly up. Guess it's going into the exec's pockets and the rest of us can just deal with increasing cost of living with no increase in pay, all while taking on the extra work of all those laid off. The burnout is insane, and all the leadership can think to do is lay more people off and make it worse. I don't see NCC lasting another 5 years at this rate.
