Great colleagues but leadership and resources need improvement - Designer NELSON Worldwide Employee Review

Pros

- Flexibility to work from home - Equipment provided - 9-5 working hours - Lunch break - Primary Pro: the people you are surrounded with. Many very talented people who are potentially the best in the field. Great minds to learn from and some very nice people as well.

Cons

- Lack of resources. Not everyone has licenses to software that would make our work better - Leadership (most C-level and most National leaders) are out of touch and not transparent - Culture.... on the lowest level (among peers) the work ethic and culture is fantastic. But among the broader firm and the culture being spread from the top down is pretty miserable. C-level and National leaders don't contribute to a positive place to work .

Pros

I have been with Nelson WW over 5 years and have found it to be challenging in a positive way. Leadership is supportive of new ideas and encourages an entrepreneurial culture. Leadership is visionary and strategic as it looks forward to growing the company and people. The company keeps up with technology and maintains a competitive edge within the industry.

Pros

NELSON is a great place for people who enjoy a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and ever-changing environment. Employees are encouraged to bring new ideas to the table, take ownership of their work, drive results and make an impact. The firm also supports professional development, offers work-life flexibility, and provides opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate with talented teams across a variety of projects & practices. There is never a "closed door", regardless of level, everyone is so approachable and willing to help. The people are GREAT!

Cons

Although the changing priorities can bring renewed energy, it can be challenging at times.
