The mortgage industry in general is a high stress environment. There are many regulations to learn and constant education to keep up with changes. You are helping families with one of their largest investments and so there are emotions that can run high. It takes great diligence to take care of the clients needs as they go through the process. Employees should thrive in a fast pace, sometimes stressful environment.
