Pros
Paychecks are sent on time, most of the time (not always). Great opportunity for those that enjoy being micromanaged. The empty and broken promises are most delightful. Self-proclaimed tech company that is proud to push out fast cheap apps while burning out the employees with abusive fear tactics. Fast talking, entertaining folks that like to throw around buzzwords and phrases like "this is not our first time at the rodeo".
Cons
Micromanagers have severe meltdowns over issues that are standard technology tasks after they claim they use to develop software before becoming managers. Micromanagers demand some employees work day, night, holidays, weekends with threats of firing or various punishments of putting negative marks on employees hr records (even making up stories if they have to). Micromanagers demand employees come up with 'innovative ideas' that the micromanagers then present as their own ideas. Micromanagers demand that employees pay for work related expenses without reimbursement. HR supports and promotes abusive micromanagers. HR and micromanagers waste alot of time / money with petty office politics & covering for each other while abusing some employees. All the positive happy stories and promises to new employees are rarely backed up with positive action. Lots of burn out & high employee turn over rates.
