Pros
The Nike Campus is spectacular and growing and has excellent facilities. The company remains extremely innovative and puts out exceptional products. It should continue growing and remain the premium sports brand in the world. Great work life balance if you are looking for that. One of the top employers in Oregon from a pay and benefits perspective.
Cons
The company went through a significant layoff in 2009. It eliminated many senior manager and director roles and then promoted some workers into managerial positions that weren't ready to be effective managers. This has led to a host of issues among the staff including low morale and unsatisfied employees. It's a young person's company who's population dominated by the young set. Ageism may be an issue for some older employees who are 40+ years old.
