Pros

Now...good benefits, what about tomorrow?

Cons

Stressful job for bus operators. No pay increase, long hours & wear & tear on your body being stuck in the drivers seat. No break, lunch & lack of compassion for operators. Don't like being told to let non paying passengers ride free. (Most being habitual offenders). It's not fair to those who pay faithfully & NJ TRANSIT is losing an enormous amount of revenue as it is being done statewide on bus and rail. The taxpayer is picking up the tab not only for the poor but those who have money, some giving you $100 on rail & bus for a one zone ride knowing we can't make change. Operators & Conductors had authority to permit the rider onboard with a valid reason. Now, everyone wants to ride free. Kids riding free with one paying adult ALL DAY! Public taking advantage of the policy. WHAT WOULD CHRISTIE SAY TO THIS DAILY LOSS OF REVENUE??? then being told to charge a co- worker! Abuse by passengers & other passengers assaulting other riders without consequence. We have NO back-up. Most radios don't work & a control center that doesn't know what they are doing. I have many years at NJT & I was hoping Ronnie would address these problems as our company is spiraling down. Low morale on bus & rail
