Pros
The buildings have heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer.
Cons
NJM used to be a great place to work. However, in the past 10 years the culture has gotten really bad but the saving grace was that they still had great benefits. Unfortunately, the benefits are disappearing now too. In 2014 they eliminated the pension for new hires and it's only a matter of time until they stop contributing to the pensions of employees hired before 2014 (The writing is on the wall). This year they quietly got rid of the matched FSA which was a huge benefit to me and my family. Now it's gone. Each year the medical insurance premiums are rising faster than the medical costs in the US which means that the employees are increasingly being asked to pay more toward the premiums while the company pays less. Advice: If you're a confident and skilled individual then find another company to work for. This place clearly doesn't value the talent that the current employees have nor does it care to attract the best talent in the industry.
