Cons
This company used to be a great company to work for. I used to feel that they really cared about their employees. But that’s changed. I’m going into my 5th year here and they are getting more and more nitpicky and micromanaging. We went from working remote to now having a mandatory 3 days in office due to “mistakes of some”. So everyone is being penalized. I hear the tre reason is there is a big tax break for companies that work 3 days in office. it’s not fair to people on my shift because I only work 4 days a week so I’m required to work in office everyday except the 1 day the office is closed, Saturday. There is no flexibility. People were hired under the impression they could be remote. I’d see if they worked with us during this transition, I am now a new mother, will soon be a mom of 2. I have no childcare, shoot I cannot afford another mortgage pymt. I work compressed shift 8a-7:15p. NJM did not give an option for a shift change since I’d be responsible to find childcare for the long hours. I took this shift under the impression I’d be working from home, not away from my family all day. Also, in my 5 years with this company, I’ve had no opportunity for growth. Also, I am pregnant and God forbid I have to take personal Time to use the bathroom and run to get some water. I am chased down by unhappy staff supervisor and yelled at loudly for all of my coworkers around to hear. True story. I’ve never met that lady, and she didn’t even introduce herself. She was very rude. Honestly I dread coming in everyday. It’s not the same anymore. And you don’t even get a homeowner’s employee discount.
