      Pros

      NOV has a very large market share in the Oilfield. They have production facilities all around the world.

      Cons

      NOV was originally a very good company to work for. Unfortunately with the down turn the focus on getting quality data change to looking for good data. When your backlog decreases as much as as NOV's did in the past couple year good data is hard to come by.

      Pros

      Very work/life balance friendly. Very strong benefits package.

      Cons

      Very Siloed. NOV is the result of over 100 acquisitions and the fractured condition of systems and procedures is evident. Leadership is working on it.
