      Pros

      Individual workers are good people. Friendly, helpful, willing to share "tribal knowlege" learned over time.

      Cons

      Sub-standard pay, benefits. Promotion based on who you know, not what you know. Safety is talked about, but not necessarily treated seriously. Different rules for different groups "Caste society" atmosphere. Very resistent to any change from the status-quo.

      Very work/life balance friendly. Very strong benefits package.

      Cons

      Very Siloed. NOV is the result of over 100 acquisitions and the fractured condition of systems and procedures is evident. Leadership is working on it.
