Pros
Management realized they had to give the employees that were leftover from the layoffs and people continuously leaving, something in this market, so we received a lot of "Thank yous" and pat on the backs for drowning us in work.
Cons
O&G market is a hard place to be since 2015. Many rounds of layoffs. The people that remained had to absorb more responsibilities. The people who were left were called the cream of the crop. Guess what, they started leaving with the pressure of work. Whoever is left had to absorb more responsibilities with even less resources to do the job. It was an impossible situation.
