Cons
100% oil and gas focused, even when dealing with non O&G business units. Poor recognition of product-level brand names "Everything is NOV". CEO and regime change have changed the focus from aggressive growth to wait and see tactics. Minor decisions in operating the business go many layers up in the organizational structure, and seem to spin around and change on a daily basis. Very rattled by softening market conditions yielding a clear lack of direction at all organization levels. Bonus structure is dictated by high-level performance with no individual contribution component. Bonus structure is good but merit increases are completely unstructured.
