Pros
The people are great to work with and the work itself is mildly interesting. Many knowledgeable individuals that are very hard-working. Great entry level job for experience right out of college or while in college.
Cons
The pay is too low for the expected amount of work. The supervisors are unaware of what is occurring within the lab and decisions are being made without consulting those directly affected. Not conducive if you have a family due to their constant lack of compromise when it comes to shifting schedules. Consequences regarding tardiness are not consistent, leading to discontented employees. No recognition for those that go above and beyond their expected workload and job title. No known consequences for those who cannot perform their job adequately after nearly a year as well as some with many years of experience. Promotion within the company above a certain level is nearly impossible due to external hire being preferred.
