Pros
Close to the freeway. Some nice people and some not very nice to-faced people. Paycheck.
Cons
They run their organization with very few engineers. It's hard to meet customer commitments and schedules. They keep firing people. Their sales follows the classic 80/20 rule. 2 sales people bring in 80% of the sales. No wonder they keep getting rid of people but tout how great things are. Never seen documentation presented or reviewed. No design docs, no test plans, nothing. I Never seen anything like it. Sold a $25K solution with documentation - they gave a 1page document with notes. I refused to turn it over to the customer. I took this job as it was the only job offer I had at the time. I knew it would not last and it will not last. Got a couple of paychecks out of it. Outsourcing to India due to missing their #. I wish I could post their internal presentation. You will have to work overtime and for many it is not paid and you will not recover those hours in paid PTO.
