Pros

Global reach, Fortune Client base, emerging technilogy, rapid pace - exposure to new workloads. Dimension Data has a strong reputation for Networking and VOIP deployments both nationally and globally.

Cons

Excessive workloads and hours for delivery teams. Disconnected mid- executive management teams. Unfortunately, the company continues to change repidly which has proven disruptive to company morale and teaming amongst sales/delivery/support teams. There is a lack of trust and in essence a tug of war primarily between Presales/Sales and delivery/support. Management lacks structure and the chain of command/process lacks formality and or is faintly existant. Te end result is a significant amount of change and poor coordination/execution on that change. Corporate culture and formal mission statements etc.. have been in existance for just over 1 year. Hard to imagine given the size of the company... Each country operates independent of the other. This results in a difficult negotiation and teaming in global environments as each "theatre" is independent of the other with no central authority/governance.

Pros

The people I came in with at Nexient. Boy do I miss Nexient.

Cons

NTT Data uses and loses its employees. The threat of layoffs is constant and there are soft layoffs happening on the bench at all times due to unreasonably strict bench policies that push people out. There is a very low amount of work because the sales team does a terrible job finding it. And what little work they do have they're shipping overseas.
