Pros

1. Very big organization with opportunities to work on large engagements and gain quality experience on your domain. 2. Compensation and Benefits are good and as per the industry standards at a senior managerial level and for architects working for the architecture practices

Cons

1. A top-heavy company with a large number of executives / managers who hold all the budgeted positions within the company and power is concentrated with them. 2. Irrespective of the experience and the level of seniority, the technical resources are treated equally. There is very little difference between a senior architect and a fresher. They do not have any power or influence. 3. The company operates with little or no bench and often finds it difficult to staff strategic engagements.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
