Pros

- Great People and Culture - Promotes and provides training/certs - Low rotation of staff; good place for stay in the comfort zone during years and years - Flexibility, it allows ocassional teleworking - Opportunity to work in large projects and top notch technology - Market recognision, good for your CV - Can specialise in area of tecnology/solutions, not for generalists.

Cons

- The Pay is a bit below market - Low rotation of staff, makes harder to escalate in the enterprise ladder. - Very low collaboration between intestate offices. Low synergy - Too much admin burden when working on projects. - That admin burden makes more its services more expensive, as consequense pushing harder on engineering to deliver faster and as result with lower quality, in order to keep low costs.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
