Pros
Fast-growing 3PL (the fulfillment center), good way to learn the industry and learn about CPG and supply chain.
Cons
Terrible management - leadership is poor, their communication is poor, people are openly berated, talked down to, and made to feel little. Upper management is just that: managers. They are not leaders; they are not mentors. Management will only talk to you if you made a mistake, or if they think you made a mistake. No 1-on-1s. No career development.
Poor pay - all positions are under paid. You will be given more responsibility with a verbal commitment that more pay is coming. If you bring it up, they will say you are not executing the new responsibilities well enough to prove you are worth more.
Extreme nepotism. Hires for better positions are all friends and family of upper management.
Company is growing fast, and nobody has a plan or relevant experience to help them take the next step. They use in house built tools that are good enough to have gotten them to where they are today; they need to make a jump and start investing in better tools, both software and warehouse machinery/tech. All current software tools are very inefficient.
