Pros

- Good work life balance - Decent food/cafeteria - Very different approach as compared to the industry , sometime its good and sometimes its not. - Helpful colleagues/mentors as fas technical stuff goes. - Pay is okayish if you consider $/hr in a year.

Cons

- In most cases root cause is due to confusion between technical lead and managerial roles. Responsibility for this mayhem solely lies with HR. - Very unorganized documentation/process despite the resources being easily available. - Short term and very limited perspective of everyone in terms of expectations, skill expansion and goals. Mostly people are focused on monetary benefits instead of real growth and development. - Recent trend of low attrition due to ESPP bonanza is about to climb up due to negligence and some highly optimistic assumptions.

Pros

NVIDIA's PTO and Sick policies are compassionate and generous. Managers listen to employees' ideas. Employees get to work on a wider variety of projects than expected, and usually work closely with other teams to get things done. Collaboration is tight almost all of the time.

Cons

Employees don't always get insight into why they were assigned a particular project, or have much if any choice about what projects they get to work on. Managers are often too busy working on projects themselves to have the free time to meet with employees on a regular basis. This leads to short-term, reactive thinking rather than long-term visionary thinking.
