Pros

Started with good pay, but that disappeared over the years

Cons

Toxic management, promises of high commission yet they are putting three to four reps in a community since they barely have any communities, calling sales, and changing pay every few months. Poor benefits. Long hours. Prepare to move around and have to drive far to get to community without warming. Management has favorites and puts people they like in successful communities and reps they don’t like in bad communities that aren’t selling (typically bc overpriced or in a less desirable area- which most communities are) other builders pay more and have better communities.

Pros

The Charleston Division is an incredible group of professionals. NVR/Ryan Homes might be a large home builder, but here, you will feel like you are part of a family. The training is the best I've ever experienced. You will be supported in every way, as long as you are communicative and transparent with management. In turn, you will be expected to show up, conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, and work hard. Your training will prepare you for success, and you will need to use what you learned. It works! You get one weekend off each month, which I never had with other builders. Sadly, I had to leave due to a move, and a position was not open in my new area so I could transfer.

Cons

Pros

Good commission structure with early payouts, qualify hoe, solid benefits, and a professional sales environment. Training and system were well organized.

Cons

Lead volume was inconsistent and often too light to generate a sustainable income. Pricing and market positioning made it difficult to compete in my area, resulting in fewer opportunities than expected. Success depended heavily on market conditions and traffic.
