Pros
Decent benefits, semi-competitive pay. Good place to start career or learn a new set of technologies. Good lunch program and workplace amenities. Upper management is trying to improve how work gets done, and have made progress.
Cons
Lack of standardization across projects and department. Poor SDLC and process. IT department is not trusted by the business (their customers). Much re-work and wasted energy.
