Business Outlook
Pros
Many fond memories of working with the kidney community, raising funds for local and national programs and initiatives. The annual gala, Authors Luncheon, is a special event, still going strong after 30+ years. Some great co-workers, board, committees, and chairs.
Cons
Like any NPO the hours can be consuming. Kidney Walks are great experiences overall but exhausting for staff. I worked here pre-pandemic, so I imagine hybrid roles make things easier. The commute into SF can be challenging (it may be easier now).
