Pros

The culture is genuinely supportive and people-focused with leadership encouraging moments to recharge and connect — like our holiday party that brought everyone together.

Cons

During busy seasons it can be challenging to step away and sometimes requires extra intention, but it is always encouraged by my leader.

While we are growing steadily, recharging and connecting is important, as your leader emphasized. They can also help you prioritize what needs the most focus. We're already looking forward to the next campus cookouts and holiday luncheons!

We appreciate your comment about the great people at National Life! If you're unclear about details or need help prioritizing your work, please connect with your team leader. They should be able to help provide clarity.

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
