Pros

Offers training to help you with your work and goals. The CEO is a great and interactive person that attends meetings with all levels of employees.

Cons

Once you are in a position, especially in an entry-level position, they do not want you to move up. Be prepared to be micro-managed, have bathroom breaks timed, have your managers changed every few months, and for some employees to just disappear off the grid due to being let go or quitting. NLG fired a lot of people during COVID, but has still not hired anyone to take their place. Those who were not fired are expected to pick up the slack, while improving their numbers. Prepare to have numbers be a normal stress in your life- How long are your calls? How long do you spend in-between calls? Did you take a break at your exact scheduled time or were you five minutes late? The new bonus system means if you don't meet all of these numbers, you are unable to get a bonus. Did you take 3 days off last quarter because you got sick? You won't receive a bonus, even if your numbers were perfect. Great place to work if you enjoy being stuck in an entry level position and having your every move monitored and recorded.

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
