Engaged Employer

Lives up to the NLG moto - Anonymous National Life Group Employee Review

Pros

A lot of fake, incompetent leadership and management. Highly entertaining office politics, low salaries and overwhelming wokload

Cons

Why hire more people when you can have regular employees take on the work of two to three people? is the moto of NLG. HR and Talent acquisition do nothing. Expect the vendor resources and employees to get things working. While the vendor resources don't care, the pressure is on the employees. Management is filled with oldies and old-school mentality who prefer to retire playing small

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
