Pros

*There are some great people you can meet within the company who are genuinely so supportive and helpful. *If you do your job well, there is a secure understanding of job security. *Every blue moon, the company offers gifts for Overtime or just as an appreciation.

Cons

*Metrics are unrealistic for the number of gaps training has across the company as a whole. I started in Sales, and the training for that, while in-depth, did not have much applicability to how service-oriented the phone and illustration work is. The turn over rate is high. And promotions are mostly based on people politics not how knowlegable a canidate truly is. *I transitioned into the New Business Department after dealing with a very antagonistic manager that is still employeed and has had significant run ins with HR after I left her team. The way this company allows for problematic managers with zero diversity training lead is incredibly concerning. *New Business as an entire department has no retention capacity. Their quality model is faulty, inconsistent, and generally miscalculated. They have allowed this to continue despite the many gaps several employees have been able to point out. Most people get stuck in this role because of this model, if there is no clear trajectory to move up- they make it harder for you by implying company culture expectations. If you are a person of color, that means you have to watch your tone and you cannot be the slightest honest with upper management as they take any feedback as non-collaborative.

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
