You literally “get paid in sunsets and rainbows”. The actual pay is insulting and dehumanizing. Walmart employees get paid more than physical scientists who have a degree requirement for their job. And so far I have only had negative experiences with the higher level management where I’ve worked, but that is largely dependent on what park you work at. There is no continuity for increasing pay grades either, you need to be a gs6 for a year to qualify for a gs7, but gs6s are almost non existent and makes it almost impossible to move upwards.
