Pros

Great staff at the lower level. Truly dedicated, hard working individuals. Meaningful work and mission.

Cons

As the headline indicated, the EF is one of the most toxic workplaces I have experienced. The leadership is weak, and you'll find that misogyny, narcissism. and gaslighting are normal, but unfortunately, celebrated. There is constant gossip and manipulation at the director level and above. Sadly, HR cannot intervene and the employees are targeted for punishment should they voice any concern. Goals and priorities are nothing but a blur, so if you are good at chasing moving targets, you may find success here. It is very disappointing that so much great talent is being wasted because egos at the top constantly take precedent. The current CEO tendered his resignation after only 16 months, which sadly says a lot about the enterprise itself and not very comforting for a stable work culture. This is such a disappointing realization because there is so much important work going on. However, at the end of the day, superficial kindness masks manipulative leadership behaviors.
