Pros

They hire you full time as an employee and give you benefits when I was there many years ago unsure if it's changed.

Cons

Wow the employees there were awful. They tried to get me fired when I felt they were not working. They stood around a lot and chit chatted and did not help the customers. The patients there treated me very poorly sometimes and even stated that I purposely gave them an incorrect prescription and wanted their money back, the company always gave it to them back. I recommend anyone go there for free eye exams and lie that the doctor gave them a bad exam, you will get your money back. They don't support you as a doctor. Their sales goals are ludicrous and you never meet them most times. They want you to solicit patients for patients. They force you to see patients every 20minutes and give 'excellent' care which is a joke. The optometry assistant was hired by the optical manager and when I complained that she was not doing her job, that was another point against my head to get me fired. I can't hire my own technician when I was there and the one I had was very lazy (She has since been fired). You can't expect much since most employees there are paid $8/hr and this is suppose to be an optometry / optical/medical office. No wonder the employees don't care and the ones that did, left almost immediately. They sent us to meetings to Vegas and you feel like you're going somewhere until you realize they put you up at a hotel off the strip so you have to pay to go there by catching a taxi in the evenings. We landed at 2pm there and they did not provide us lunch. So we had to buy ourselves our food. They did not provide dinner for us making sure the meetings ended exactly at 6pm so we can fend for ourselves.
