Pros
Nationwide's culture promotes a work family atmosphere welcoming grass roots participation and promoting equal pay with its company values. Now retired after almost 40 years of service I did witness management changing from no women to a much better mix of women, ethnic diversity, race diversity among management.
Cons
Similar to most company the execution of company policies and values can vary widely between bosses and departments. If you are unfortunately to have a difficult boss who circumvents polices of fairness it is very difficult to voice the truth. HR is not in a position to be the associate advocate.
