Pros
work life balance is good.
Cons
Regardless of education or experience, the hiring process is a major conflict of interest. Whether you are new to the sites or trying to advance and get a promotion, the competition in the interview process is always family of management and sometimes friends. The HR "business agent" that is suppose to address these types of issues is part of the problem. Anyone that brings up the MAJOR Nepotism issue during the hiring process is shunned by management and will continue to be cycled in the interview process. Jobs are posted and need at least 4 or so candidates to start interviewing. Management selects the new hire before the process (for internal promotions) and cycles all the other employees to make the hiring process look fair. More than 50% of the employees on all sites have family that got them a job, and often times managers hire family within their own subdivision. If you wanto get get a job and stay in the same position, come aboard. If you want to advance and grow with a company, RUN, unless your uncle is a manager. By the way DOGE is auditing the company and the Govt agency that runs the sites.
