Pros
PSNS and IMF has amazing employee benefits, high wages, and a compelling mission. Not only that, it has major partnerships with academic institutions, and an award-winning trades apprenticeship program that pays employees to attend school while learning a trade and earning a degree.
Cons
Typically the jobs here support national security and are subject to military chains of command. Many younger employees (and older employees alike) have a difficult following orders and prefer to be asked nicely to do things with a please and thank you. For those who are afraid to roll up their sleeves and get some work done, this job can be really difficult. Not only is the work highly technical, but it serves a higher mission and purpose that puts people's lives on the line when it is not done correctly. This level of responsibility can be difficult for some employees to handle.
