Thank you for sharing your perspective. I’m sorry to hear this has been your experience. I understand that it can be confusing to see continued hiring after the layoffs in March and I also understand how personal this can feel to see colleagues let go. Having to reduce our workforce in response to the impact COVID-19 has had on our industry was a last resort in order to ensure long-term viability of the business. To your point about current hiring, we believe we have an opportunity to further define our product in the marketplace once travel resumes, so we are in fact resuming hiring of certain strategic roles in Sales, Engineering, and across leadership to ensure that we are set up to come out stronger than ever once the crisis passes.
In terms of your feedback regarding promotions and workload, it’s vital that employees feel recognized for the work they do and understand growth opportunities.
