Pros

Some nice people, Above average pay, Rocket ship: not sure which direction its headed but, it's going somewhere fast. Warm, comfortable socks.

Cons

Spent the past few months really depressed trying to work out if it's me or TripActions. Turns out its the latter. This is a company that sets frighteningly, sickeningly high expectations. The company is a bizarre mix of deluded tech bro's, burnt out grafters, and middle managers who just cover their own backsides. Everyone puts on their 'game face' before coming in. Which means, they change themselves to fit in. Toxic positivity is absolutely not a joke - you'll be forced to smile while selling your days, nights, weekeneds and youth to some travel app, or be forced out the door. And let's face it who is buying travel now anyway? Recent merger makes little sense from a business standpoint and culturally there is a gulf between the two that won't be fixed without a LOT of good people being axed for not conforming with the new diktat. The CRO and CEO have killed the culture here. Across the board. All teams. I consider myself a strong willed and driven person but by god if I could I wish I'd go back in time and never join. What a crushing experience. Please don't join this company unless you've previously made a deal with the devil. And even then, consider carefully.

Pros

Fast paced, plenty of room and opportunity to grow. Very good starting pay and ability to earn bonuses. Many remote work options. Strong culture and supportive leadership, with fun company events (like the Christmas party) that help people feel connected, even for the many remote employees.

Cons

The pre‑hire assessment is very strict and pass/fail. I’ve referred strong, experienced candidates who I know are good workers, but they did not pass the test and were not given the opportunity to move forward. It feels like the process may screen out some high‑potential talent who could otherwise thrive here.
