Pros
Easy place to get your first job out of college, and get some awesome experience. We take care of some very sick people. The training is awesome, if a little redundant at times. They spend a lot of effort and money training new nurses. You can get as much overtime as you like, which is great if you are not lazy.
Cons
Typically new nurses will have to sign a 2 year contract in exchange for the extensive training MCCG provides. This is because the turn-over is VERY high. Not the easiest hospital to work at - the outlying hospitals send their very sick patients over to us because they can't cope with the acuity. For me, this is a pro, but YMMV.
