Pros

You get 3 weeks of personal time off. They just put you on the floor no training just go get them

Cons

The managers have no sales or industry experience. If you sale a million in a year you get 20k (should be 50k to 80k) you will never make more then 65k a year they will make sure of it. 3 million in sales gets you 65k (should be 180k they hate paying sales people)

Pros

This position is not commission based, so it's very easy to do your job. Most days are the same, some days are very different and busy because of sales and weather (construction in the spring/summer).

Cons

This order writing system is ancient. Everything on this system is so manual, it may take you minimum 3-6 months to know how to correctly write an order from start to finish. I was a fast learner/know tech and learned in about 1-2 months. I still learn things to this day. Also the rules of when and how to order product, when to schedule them, what route to use will also take time to learn. You will also feel like you are doing a lot of work that you should be getting commission. That'll happen, but the salesperson should 95% of time be meeting with clients, 5% are the unplanned walk-ins.
