Pros

The work isn't difficult. Training staff has always been great. There are good people at the company.

Cons

Terrible management, revolving door for leadership, extremely low or non-existent bonuses/commission.

Neighbors Bank Response

Recruiting, developing, and retaining incredible people is a core focus at NB. We value a Plus-One mentality, meaning we always want to improve. Although we have great managers and leaders, we must continue to hold them accountable, so they are able to create rewarding and fulfilling experiences for both our team and those we serve. Additionally, identifying and developing new leaders is vital to us and something want to get better at. Thank you for the feedback. We wish you all the best. – Your friends at Neighbors Bank

Pros

- People genuinely enjoy each other and make every day unique and fun. The culture is 100% real. - Interesting work with some really smart people. - Big resources from a strong parent company, with the scrappy startup feel. - The work that we do genuinely helps people who are looking for a home loan and may not have the credit or funds to qualify for a traditional loan product. NB does a lot to care for the community as well. - Pay is strong and there are a lot of "fun" benefits (company functions, summer groups, giveaways, games, etc.) - Fully embrace the flexibility and trust that remote work should provide.

Cons

- Remote work definitely isn't for everyone (though this is a GREAT place if you're looking for it). - Growing pains that come with branching off from a parent company. - A lot of processes and ways of doing business are rooted deep in the ways of the parent company. There is some pushback to any change from this.
