This place was a joke to work for. The title of some jobs such as recreational coordinator and they make the expectations seem way high. With a degree or even having multiples being in the outdoor field and having certifications and previous work experience in the same field you sit around not getting trained just watching but then are expected to help once they send a zipline guest down for you with no notice or communication and you not knowing procedures or how they run things here. You'll still start at $10 an hour and go off reservations which if there aren't any you go off walk-ins and then still at that point if no one comes in for activities you get sent home early but they tell you that you are GUARANTEED 30 hours if you're full time anyway. Therefore if no one comes in you're screwed for the day and won't get your hours. Tips are the only thing that would make it even semi worth it. Winter season you only work 3 to 4 days a week and are expected to still do your 30 hours, nc based on business so on a good weekend, which is rare, you'd get your 39 hours in by work 3, 10 hour shifts back to back, granted you gave the next few days off but what about more hours or another job in the meantime? Good luck with both because they don't help out at all trying to work around 2 job schedules but expect you to get by on crap pay and crap hours. Also good luck with anything HR related or starting if you do accept a position. Watch your back in a management or supervisor position too, they fire and rehire like theres jot tomorrow, you can have a job for 3 months and then they'll wipe out management and start over. Also you can't enjoy much of what the place has to offer seeing as employees can not use or access certain things such as the casino wether you're working or trying to enjoy a day off.
