Great organization with caring leadership, but lacks nurse autonomy - Regisgered Nurse Nemours Children's Health Employee Review

Great mission! Almost all associates are bought into the mission and taking care of kids. Rewarding work!

The executive leadership over the last 7 years has tanked. Moss cleaned house at the exec level (needed) but replaced his team with people who are not leaders and do not embrace the Standards of Behavior; some even scoff at them openly. The new Chief HR Officer is a maniac who creates fear and fires his own leaders at a whim. I have friends on the HR team and they are all uncertain about the path of the culture and say the organization has lost it's way culturally (and quite a few are searching for their next opportunity). That is certainly felt on the front line. Decisions about policies and things that affect culture are being made without consideration for how it will affect a culture that was intentionally cultivated around respect for each other. New leaders (at all levels) are not trained on Nemours culture and how to emulate the Standards. As a long-time associate, it is heartbreaking.
