Pros

- Competitive Pay - Big market opportunity - Having a job in this current tech market

Cons

- Revolving door of leadership (voluntary exits) - Huge lack of accountability across the company, lots of pointing fingers - Individuals lower on the totem pole held to different standards than senior+ leadership - Big communication issues across departments (pretty typical for a lot of organizations, but there are levels to this and it is BAD) - Heavy workload made worse by a culture that lacks proper recognition for hard work - A non-existent people / HR team (the department exists, but not sure what they are actually doing, "they're working on it" is a common phrase you will hear) - Huge 'data debt' and operations teams that have been underinvested in for years with no signs of meaningful change - VERY low team morale Be very cautious as you think about joining Neo4j. Do as much backchanneling as you can to figure out the nuances of the specific team / situation you will be joining. There is definitely opportunity here, but you need to be aware of the tradeoffs that comes with and just how bad certain situations are / will be for the foreseeable future.
