Pros

Smaller-company feel with a large-company outreach. Senior leadership is approachable and inclusive. Strategic goals are not a 'big secret' like many big corp's. Benefits are very good compared to others in the industry.

Cons

Not quite as many sick days as compared to others, but only a minor con in my opinion.

Thank you for your feedback. We do put a lot of effort into our communication initiatives and we are pleased to hear you think it’s a plus! Communication is a key element of our high-performance culture and it requires us to provide regular, up-to-date information. We have a variety of tools and programs in place to foster active, ongoing dialogue between management and employees to ensure everyone understands how our company’s priorities fit into our overall objectives. For example, we hold quarterly Town Hall meetings where our CEO and other executives candidly address all employees on topics like our financial future and goals for growth. We also know that the qualified people we employ have options on who they select as an employer. Our benefits programs are a critical part of attracting and retaining employees in today’s competitive market and our goal is to offer comprehensive benefit solutions that set us apart from our competition. We know we still have work to do in that area but we are always looking for ways to improve. To that end, we recently added the sick days policy that you mentioned based on employee feedback and recommendations for improvement. We’re always evaluating and re-evaluating in the spirit of continuous improvement. Feedback is an important part of that improvement process, so thanks for giving yours! Thank you, VP of HR

Pros

The workforce wants to do the right thing. We take pride in knowing our services impact people's lives everyday.

Cons

Constant turnover, lack of communication throughout - top to bottom. Leadership is struggling and not performing, Most of their attempts to improve growth have lost money. This is factual, not to be mistaken with statements from a disgruntled employee. An article published after the recent earnings release emphasized NEO's 5-year Return on Invested Capital is -10.5%, meaning management doesn't spend our capital wisely. This, along with heavy debt, minimal cash and returns at the bottom of the healthcare sector, should make you pause and do more research before jumping on board.
