Pros
A lot of freedom to write and send emails to people who I thought would be interested in our offerings. We used internal systems to help us and a lot of times existing clients will be pitched new product lines and modules.
Cons
W have NO trust built with anyone new, especially hard to acquire new clients. Some POCs are just runarounds for the potential client teams, they're shopping around due to us not being a major player: we get squashed.
The ones we do secure contracts with disrespect us by not taking us seriously. They ask for no help, and when asking it's expected to be free. Bad experience.
To my best knowledge, the systems sitting at client sites are cheaply implemented and kept with low budgets so they can spend more money on fancy reporting. NeoXam should spend more money on RETAINING clients than scrambling to get new ones - but as sales we rely mostly on new sales as our bread and butter. So it's not looking good; most existing clients have what they need and do not budge for additional modules..
