Last resort employment - Shipping Clerk Team Lead Neogen Employee Review

I've given NEOGEN five years with a start pay of 9.50 and when I left I was making 12.55. Neogen's theme song is 'Another one bites the dust'. Neogen is a revolving door that can't keep employees because of low pay. In the five years I put in I've seen more then 40 people come and go in the shipping department. This is high school all over again. Promotions based on who you kiss up to. Hard work doesn't ever go noticed and often times deadlines are short and the workload is over bearing. Department meetings are only held when something bad happens. It feels like only bad things get noticed. Morale is very low. Management expects miracle for next to nothing. Upper management doesn't care about employees, even those that bend over backwards and give it their all. Random drug test are only preformed when they are attempting to fire you. Sexual harassment is not uncommon. Don't expect to retire here. Don't expect hr or management to have your back.
