Pros
Things are changing fast at Neon One (formerly NeonCRM, but it became Neon One when its investors also bought Arts People, Rallybound, and CiviCore). The company is striving to integrate its four business units without much of a playbook, but this provides a lot of opportunity if you're the kind of person who sees something that needs to be done and takes ownership to make it happen. In addition, it feels great to be in a position to help nonprofits who are out there in the trenches (and to work with fellow employees who also care about nonprofits). Lastly, the office location in Ravenswood is great, especially for those who live on the north side of Chicago. Oh, and did I mention the unlimited paid time off - !
Cons
Company 401k contribution is only 4% of what the employee puts in (hopefully this will change next year - it needs to); salaries are below market (not a lot, but still); lack of funding for professional development (as far as I can tell anyway).
