Pros
Great culture, pay, benefits, leadership. New CEO really turned the place around. NetApp generally manages to avoid the sleazy sales rep thing. People want to stay for the long haul so they treat customers well and build relationships. tech is awesome. customers love the tech and company - it's great to walk into a room and meet clients who rave about your company. Management is competent, listens to new ideas, and has a sense of humor.
Cons
NetApp isn't very good at acquiring companies or technologies. The core product is where all the revenue comes from. I've heard that corporate is a more difficult place to work. Stay in a field site! We all work a ton, typically 55-70 hours/week Our marketing is usually trailing the competition. Management will swap out your customers out from under you - really frustrating. And if you do really well one year, the next year you're slapped with an unrealistic goal. why punish success?
