Pros
There is a reason NetApp is listed as "one of the best places to work" year after year, and in many countries. The corporate atmosphere is so "polite", that it almost seems out-of-place to make a snide comment to the point that everyone just "gets along". I can safely say, this is was the best place I've ever worked insofar as job satisfaction is concerned. A total 180-degree difference from Red Hat :)
Cons
The only "cons" I can even come up with are: 1) Tendency to cut contractors towards end of projects to save on operating cost numbers via out-sourcing their India-based location, and 2) lack of upper-level, corporate hierarchy's ability to properly propagate important issues upwards.
