Pros
Compensation is acceptable, free soft drinks and some other benefits. From time to time you have to do with skilled and knowledgeable people and this was the biggest satisfaction I had. Easy stepping-in position generally and once again - from time to time you have to do with great people. Unfortunately not so many as I want. :)
Cons
Lower tier of Team Leaders and Managers are prematurely placed directly from the "field forces" and learning "in fly". I suppose, this should be good think, but in fact lot of new promoted are arrogant,as simply inexperienced and do more damage, than helps. The greatest people get lost in the transition with Oracle... they got moved somewhere or left the company. Further non-objective credit is given to local(CZ) people due to friendships and/or personal preferences. Foreigners are often ignored and is very hard to be in team mainly with locals. Personal Business Contribution is measured in very inefficient way - to do not go further and say that does not work at all. Very hard and problematic daily business with Manila office. Training materials are mostly outdated and exams and quizzes are manually (still)evaluated and not objective at all.
