Pros
Good place to start a sales career, strong product relative to SMB competitors and strong technical support for deals.
Cons
Unrealistic quotas with tiny territories. Sales leaderships strategy appeared to be to flood the market with cheaper junior reps. The entire sales org would blow out their number consistently but they had terrible rep attainment. That was because it was set up like a pyramid scheme. Front line managers quota was 80% of individual reps quota, VP's quota was 80% of front line managers, etc.... There was 4-5 levels of management so the actual company goal wasn't close to the sum of all the reps quotas. This led to about 5% of reps hitting quota and a much larger percent of reps under 50% of quota. Another downside of having too many sales reps is that there was little to no inbound lead flow. Pay was also quite low compared to other SAAS companies of similar size.
