Pros

Netchemia was really big into culture and training/development. I was surrounded by not only very talented individuals but also very good people who had passion and pursued a common goal. The people at Netchemia made it really hard for me to leave. I came into the company with limited sales experience and was given a chance because I had drive, was teachable and fit the "team above self" culture. I not only had monthly formal training I was guided by my manager on a consistent basis. In just a short time, after the training and leadership of management, I was a consistent leader, in terms of units sold and revenue, of the department for my three year tenure. I was also able to get two promotions which came with salary increases as well. Once you prove yourself by putting in the work and learning (sometimes by failure which was looked at as okay as long as you learned and progressed) you are were given freedom to run your territory. I always appreciated the flexibility and trust Netchemia had with my ideas to try and drive in business.

Cons

As with any start up there comes a time that there will be such fast growth that growing pains will occur. That is what Netchemia is currently experiencing. That being said with the new and current leadership I am confident they will figure out what they need to do to take the company to the next level.

Pros

Too few to mention unfortunately.

Cons

There was an air of egotism among management that was just astounding. In bringing on new employees there was a greater focus on making sure people would "fit into their culture" than working toward any common goal. The air in the office was always awkward and tense. There was a large lead generation team, and preferential treatment was given to which salespeople were afforded lead generation assistance. Certain sales reps were given territories that were known to be dead. With Foos Ball Tables and periodic Nerf wars and after hours drinking it would seem like a cool place to work, but in reality very little work got done.

Pros

The culture is fun and fast-paced, and the people are great. The work feels meaningful, and it doesn't feel like you are disappearing into a corporate machine. Lots and lots of change, which means great opportunities for people who can learn quickly, and work hard. If you don't like change, this isn't the place for you; if you can adapt and perform, you'll do well!

Cons

Compared to the fast pace of the rest of the organization, some of the corporate bureaucracy can move more slowly, and sometimes that's frustrating. The company recently went through a big merger, so some processes are still being ironed out. (If you're in the interview process and are waiting for a callback, reach out! It can be slow.)
