Pros
- Salary (the average on the market, but it is changed according to the current reality) - Business trips (most of employees having position of Sr Software Engineer and greater go to business trips according to project needs if they do not mind) - Career opportunities (if you want to become a team leader, a group leader, a technical manager or even a project manager it is possible to do in Netcracker, easier than in other companies) - Insurance (an ordinary for St Petersburg additional health insurance, nothing special, but still it is great because not all companies have even such one)
Cons
- Bureaucracy (much of bureaucracy starting from the hiring; some candidates are approved up to 3 months; it exists in all processes) - Absence of transparency (decisions made by managers are not clear in most of cases, for instance, the salary is increased but rules are not clear even at the personal level) - Absence of well developed management processes that's why result of projects completely depends on people working on them. At the same time it is an opportunity for proactive people to be promoted. - General level of programming culture is low, but there are engineers in the company who are real stars.
